Deployment checklist
Stage 1: local evaluation
- Start Jiandu on loopback or with the reviewed Compose example.
- Claim the installation with a named human Administrator.
- Store the Owner token as offline recovery material.
- Add, correct, search, open, and export sample documents.
- Confirm the current product boundaries fit your use.
Stage 2: durable data
- Put the database and blobs on persistent storage.
- Record the exact data and secret locations.
- Create a complete backup.
- Restore it to a new isolated destination.
- Open representative originals from the restored copy.
Stage 3: household access
- Choose a stable
https://public origin. - Put a reviewed reverse proxy in front of the private backend.
- Restrict the direct backend port.
- Test certificate trust and sign-in from a second device.
- Create Member accounts and verify their actual view.
Stage 4: operations
- Monitor liveness, readiness, capacity, and certificate expiry.
- Decide how upgrades and rollback work.
- Schedule backup and restore drills.
- Add capture, external identity, telemetry, or plugins one at a time.
- Keep a short recovery runbook outside Jiandu.
Do not advance because a page merely loads. Advance when the recovery and access behavior for that stage has been tested.
